[A gentle boy's voice comes in suddenly, mid-word.]
--t'll turn on? Yeah, I think that worked... Man, this is pretty cool! Is this heaven or something? It's not quite what I imagined... it's a lot greener, for one thing! And my wings aren't pure white, like I thought people were supposed to get when they died. But I guess I can't really complain too much... I mean, this is better than no afterlife at all, right?
I guess I didn't expect heaven to have weird magic notebook things, either, come to think of it. But then, I've never met someone who could tell me about heaven first-hand! It's not like getting married, after all, most people don't live to tell you about it later. Hahaha...
Gosh, I guess I don't even know if anyone's listening to this. Um, is anyone? ... If you are, hi!
[And then he stops the recording, looking around himself at the forest out here. Gosh, it's so lush... way more lively than the forests he'd been in! And he can see all kinds of birds in the trees, and small animals skittering about...
It was weird, that Heaven would be so much more alive than Earth.
Slowly, he drifts around the forest in his cotton pants, floating with his bony toes sometimes grazing the undergrowth and mulchy soil, absorbing the life around him and... and wondering about his friends, that he felt like he'd just seen a few minutes ago, just before he'd woken up here.
They were probably already arguing, knowing them!]

When he sees Emil, he stops and gets a look at him. While a sight like this would be strange back home, it's not here, and after a moment he smiles.] Hello there!
[action]
[Man, the people here are really friendly, aren't they? All three of them Emil's met so far, at least-- not one of them has been afraid of him, either!
He waves one skeletal hand at the other boy, dropping a little towards the ground.]
[action]
I didn't think I'd see anyone here, but I don't mind! What brings you out here?
[action]
Emil's beginning to think he likes this place!]
O-oh, well, someone told me it was the... [He flips open his notebook to check the pronunciation.] Malnosso? Though I was in a pretty big explosion before I got here, too...
[Congratulations, Jeb! You have just met someone completely new to Luceti.]
[action]
[action]
... Um, I'm not so sure that's a good idea. Villages and me don't usually get along...
[In fact, he usually sleeps outside because of how much he and villages don't get along.]
A-anyway, I don't wanna keep you away from your drawing or anything!
[action]
This one's different, I promise! There's all kinds of different people there... you'll be accepted!
[action]
And thinks about the last time he was in a village--]
... I--
I'm not just worried about what they'd think of me.
