--t'll turn on? Yeah, I think that worked... Man, this is pretty cool! Is this heaven or something? It's not quite what I imagined... it's a lot greener, for one thing! And my wings aren't pure white, like I thought people were supposed to get when they died. But I guess I can't really complain too much... I mean, this is better than no afterlife at all, right?

I guess I didn't expect heaven to have weird magic notebook things, either, come to think of it. But then, I've never met someone who could tell me about heaven first-hand! It's not like getting married, after all, most people don't live to tell you about it later. Hahaha...

[And then he stops the recording, looking around himself at the forest out here. Gosh, it's so lush... way more lively than the forests he'd been in! And he can see all kinds of birds in the trees, and small animals skittering about...

It was weird, that Heaven would be so much more alive than Earth.

Slowly, he drifts around the forest in his cotton pants, floating with his bony toes sometimes grazing the undergrowth and mulchy soil, absorbing the life around him and... and wondering about his friends, that he felt like he'd just seen a few minutes ago, just before he'd woken up here.

Though, this isn't really the afterlife--it's Luceti. I can understand the mix-up. It has a very...afterlife feel to it, when you first get here. What with the wings and all.

Luceti...? [He sounds confusedly curious, asking,] Man, I've never heard of a place like that before... and if I'm not dead, why do I have wings? And why is everything so... alive?

[There's someone else wandering the forest this day, too. Dressed in her usual sailor fuku despite the poor weather, Yuriko is also floating a few inches above the ground to combat the undergrowth.

When she spots Emil. she quickly drops to her feet, however, a little shocked at his appearance.]

Yeah, someone told me that already... I guess it was kind of silly for me to think it was heaven, huh? Even with the weird wings and all...

Still, it seems to be really nice here! I mean, there's so many animals, and I haven't seen a single Shade!

[Emil turns quickly at the noise, with a soft sound of surprise--]

O-oh, hello, miss!

[-- and the least intimidating greeting ever given by a floating skeleton.]

[He laughs a little, a bit awkwardly, and asks,] Do you know how they work? I've seen notebooks before, but they never worked like this... it's really cool!

Scorpius in all of his six foot bondage suited glory has concluded that he really, really is tired of seeing humans when catching so much of a glimpse like someone like Emil makes him turn his head to get a second glance. and then a glance his thermal read. And then strut on over to make conversation, a silver suitcase in one hand as he was en route somewhere else but welcoming the distraction]

[Somewhat defiantly, she responds with:] I don't believe in magic, or talking skeletons.

[He tilts his head at her, then looks down at himself, wiggling his fingers in the space where his organs would be if he still had them, then summoning a little ball of magic in his hand, circles of glowing runes radiating out around his fingers like petals as the ball formed.]

... W-well, your belief doesn't seem to have done much, since they're still things that I am.

[And with that, he releases the ball of magic up towards the sky, watching it drift away for a moment before looking back to her.]

[Emil can't exactly make facial expressions, but he clearly has to double-take at Scorpius, who's both quite a lot taller than Emil and possibly even odder-looking!

But Emil of all people knows that you can't judge people by how they look, so after a moment of staring, he shakes his head and greets, politely,]
