--t'll turn on? Yeah, I think that worked... Man, this is pretty cool! Is this heaven or something? It's not quite what I imagined... it's a lot greener, for one thing! And my wings aren't pure white, like I thought people were supposed to get when they died. But I guess I can't really complain too much... I mean, this is better than no afterlife at all, right?

I guess I didn't expect heaven to have weird magic notebook things, either, come to think of it. But then, I've never met someone who could tell me about heaven first-hand! It's not like getting married, after all, most people don't live to tell you about it later. Hahaha...

[And then he stops the recording, looking around himself at the forest out here. Gosh, it's so lush... way more lively than the forests he'd been in! And he can see all kinds of birds in the trees, and small animals skittering about...

It was weird, that Heaven would be so much more alive than Earth.

Slowly, he drifts around the forest in his cotton pants, floating with his bony toes sometimes grazing the undergrowth and mulchy soil, absorbing the life around him and... and wondering about his friends, that he felt like he'd just seen a few minutes ago, just before he'd woken up here.

A wolf god? Gosh... [Emil totally sounds excited anyway.] I've met some wolves before, but they were led by a monster, not a god. I'll make sure not to bother her, though! it would be pretty silly of me to cause trouble, after all, right? Heeheehee!

[That sure is the million gald question, isn't it? Emil hesitates for a moment, then decides that this probably isn't the time for that rabbit hole, and instead offers,]

Um... well, my name is Emil! [He dips a polite little bow to the other boy, and says, politely,] It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr...?

Oh, wow! Do you mean... we're both Emils?

... That's really cool! I've never met another Emil before, either! [He laughs, cheerfully, and confesses,] But I don't meet many people in general. Still, it's really nice to meet you, Other Emil!

She would appreciate it. Moro...would prefer it a lot. [From what he heard. He would rather find out for himself, but he heard about the wolf god's feelings about humans.] Otherwise, Luceti is fairly safe to live in.

Yeah, I'm Emil Castagnier. That's kind of neat, though... I didn't think it was a very common name at all, much less one they used in other worlds too. It's nice to meet you too!

There are lots of them, from what I hear. Many of them are the same, but some are a lot different.

Wow... that's really cool! I've never heard of something like that before! [He sounds genuinely excited, bouncing a little in mid-air.] What's it like, where you're from? The Empire of the Rising Sun... It sounds amazing just from the name!
